Rep Mk Tag Aquaracer to Gen Comparison

I have owned this replica Tag Aquaracer for some time now, and it has been so impressive that it actually encouraged me to purchase a genuine one.

In this comparison, I want to highlight just how similar these two replica watches are. They are so close in resemblance that I often found myself mixing them up and had to rely on the different times displayed to tell them apart.

In terms of dimensions, there is practically no noticeable difference between the two:

Bezel size: Gen – 44.1, Rep – 44.2
Thickness: Gen – 12.72, Rep – 13.00
With Crown: Gen – 48.52, Rep – 48.52
Lug to Lug: Gen – 50, Rep – 50

Both replica watches have excellent anti-reflective coatings, and to my eyes, they appear to be exactly the same. The replica features a clone of the ETA 2824-2 movement, which starts up with a swirl, just like the genuine one.

The color of the bezels and dials is also incredibly similar, and I personally couldn’t detect any differences. The bezel clicks and turns with the same solid feel on both watches, and the crown winds smoothly in and out on both as well.

Overall, I am truly amazed at how closely the replica and the genuine Tag Aquaracer resemble each other. It really makes me question why I even bought the genuine one in the first place.

GEN ON THE LEFT

AGAIN, GEN ON THE LEFT, THE ENGRAVING/STAMPING ON THE GEN IS MAYBE A LITTLE CRISPER

AGAIN, GEN ON LEFT, SO CLOSE

GEN

REP

So, that concludes my somewhat informal comparison of the two watches. But if you’re looking to save a significant amount of money, I highly recommend considering one of these MK replicas. They truly are exquisite timepieces, and it’s highly unlikely that anyone will ever be able to tell the difference.
